Denver real estate in the Park Hill area is located in the northeastern quadrant of Denver. It is bordered by Colorado Boulevard on the west, East Colfax Avenue on the south, Quebec Street on the east, and East 52nd Avenue on the north.
The City and County of Denver further divide it into three administrative neighborhoods, South Park Hill, North Park Hill, and Northeast Park Hill.
Denver is home to many beautiful parks and neighborhoods, but none can quite compare with Washington Park.
The 165-acre park was designed and opened in the early 1900’s. It boasts 54 flowerbeds, 2 lakes, a 2.6 mile jogging path, a fishing pond and a lake house. The two playgrounds are an oasis for area children and families picnicking. In-line skating, soccer games, dog walking and jogging are some of the popular activities seen within the park.
Bonnie Brae, or “Pleasant Hill” in Gaelic, is bordered by University Boulevard on the west, Steele Street on the east, Exposition Avenue on the north and E. Mississippi Avenue on the south. Planned in 1923 by a prominent Denver planner, it was meant to feel like a Scottish village. While the oldest homes in the area were built in the early 1920’s, the majority of the residences were constructed in the 1940’s and 50’s, allowing for a large variety of architectural styles, including Tudor, traditional and mid-century modern. Mature landscape, well-manicured lawns and curvaceous streets make Bonnie Brae one of Denver’s most beautiful neighborhoods.
