Denver Area Home Tours fill the calendar this September.  Whether you are an architectural enthusiast, someone looking to move and want to get a feel for a particular neighborhood, or are a closeted decorator looking for inspiration, Home Tours offer a little bit for everyone.  Here is a list of the Denver Metro Home tours featured this month:

Curtis Park Home Tour – Saturday & Sunday, September 13th & 14th – 10 am – 4 pm.

Join Historic Denver Inc. and the Curtis Park Neighbors for the Curtis Park Home and Community Tour, where 14 of the finest homes in this historic neighborhood will be open to the public.  Attend the tour and view a wide range of housing styles from modest cottages, row homes and single story duplexes to grand Victorian mansions, Italianate, and Queen Anne style houses. Tom “Dr. Colorado” Noel will give a lecture on Saturday, September 13 and guided walking and biking tours will be available both days.  Tickets are $15 per person, and $12 for members of Historic Denver and the Molly Brown House Museum. Jewels of Highlands Home Tour – Sunday, September 21st – 11 am – 3 pm.

This home tour will feature 8 lovely and unique homes in the West Highlands neighborhood.  All ticket proceeds will benefit Brown International Academy, a Denver Public School located in the Sloan’s Lake Neighborhood.  Take a tour of this neighborhood rich with culture and varying styles of architecture ranging from the English Tudor to the Victorian Mansion to newer urban Modern architecture.  For more information and to purchase tickets, click HERE.


36th Annual Park Hill Home Tour and Street Fair – Sunday, September 28th – 11 am  – 5 pm.

Come Celebrate and enjoy 120 Years of Architecture within 12 Blocks!  Step through the doors of 5 unique homes ranging from a 1920’s Tudor Revival, to a Mid Century Modern home featuring a butterfly roof and geo-thermal heating and cooling,  and a turn of the century farmhouse.  The tour also features a walk through the Historic Smiley campus, which will be the new home of McAuliffe International School this fall.   Fun, music, food and local fair will be featured at the street fair on Forest Parkway between Montview Blvd. and 17th Avenue.  Come see all that this beautiful and historical neighborhood has to offer.  Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for Seniors and $5 for children 6-12 years.  Children under 5 are free.  To purchase tickets online, click HERE.
